Merry Christmas to Tony

A couple of years ago, Tony bought a really small handheld TV at a garage sale for like $4.  He absolutely loved that little TV and carried it around everywhere during football season.  When the digital switch happened last February, it stopped working.  I replaced the little handheld TV with a 9" one this year for Christmas and we are absolutely amazed at the quality of picture on it.  It even has its own little stand so you can leave it set up on the kitchen counter to watch while you're cooking.

More Snow Scenes from St. Louis

The poor ducks are all huddled up in the only part of the lake that isn't frozen over.

Snow Scenes from Around SLU

One of the only castles in the United States is located on SLU's campus.

Tony thought that he looked cold!

There's normally water in this view!

Tony Writes Home...

Tony vs. the Great Snowfall of 2010

Our neighbors have gotten some sort of perverse pleasure at laughing at us!  So far, their favorite has been Tony's attempt to use an umbrella while it was snowing.

My personal favorite has been the night that he came home with a huge bag of salt, a very large snow shovel (remember that we don't even have a driveway here), and a sled.  Why?  Because "all of the locals had them in their buggies."  Awesome...

Winter Wonderland

This morning we awoke to our first major snowfall here in St. Louis!  We received about 5 inches overnight!
