Eating Mike the Tiger

When Tony and I lived in Baton Rouge, we loved to drop by Fresina's on Drusilla and pick up some fresh pasta.  The shop where they make it is located right next door, so you are able to watch them as they work.  If you have never been, Tony and I highly recommend them.  They also ship orders via their website.  The pasta is only $2 a box more than you would pay at the grocery store, but you'll immediately notice a difference in the quality.

Last year, Tony's friend and former colleague sent us a box of their new fleur de lis pasta.  It was a GREAT surprise!  This led us to stopping on our way home for Christmas to pick up a few boxes as gifts.  When we arrived at the shop, we found that they now have LSU pasta as well!

The LSU pasta even includes purple Mike the Tigers!

Tony made a pasta dish for us to eat as we watched the first LSU baseball game of the season that was televised here in St. Louis!  Unfortunately, they lost, but dinner was yummy!
