Last night, Tony and I were driving around when we decided to head to Forest Park for a bit. We ended up stopping to sit at the fountain area. This is a beautiful area at any time of the day, but it is really special at night. We sat for about an hour with our feet in the water before getting up to climb the waterfalls. When we first arrived, there were a few other groups there including a few kids swimming. Tony decided that he wanted to know how deep the water was, so he hopped in at one point. It only came up to his thighs.
The water rotated through six different color changes.
The World's Fair Pavilion is visible at the top Government Hill. It was built in 1909 with proceeds from the 1904 World's Fair. In 1998, a $1.1 million renovation was completed to make it more accessible for large groups by adding a catering area and more restrooms. While we were there, a wedding reception was being held with a pretty good band. We enjoyed the music while we sat out there.
This is what the area looks like during the day.
Excellent overview, it pointed me out something I didn’t realize before. I should encourage for your wonderful work. I am hoping the same best work from you in the future as well. Thank you for sharing this information with us.
